Nothing beats guacamole and chips when you are sitting down for the big game. And the extra bonus is that guacamole is actually pretty healthy when compared with most snack foods.
Ripe avocados will give just a little bit when squeezed, make sure they are ripe before you use them.
2 medium avocados
1/2 red onion minced fine
1 handful of cilantro leaves, chopped
1 tbsp lime juice
course salt
black pepper
Slice the avocados lengthwise and scoop them into a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mash with a fork till blended. That's it! To keep the dip fresh you can leave the pit in the bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. It will keep in the refrigerator for a day or two.
