Jason is a self promoting mastermind, if his writing was half as good as his marketing I probably would have really enjoyed this book. The book promises "an insanely effective strength and conditioning program for the ultimate mma warrior" but delivers a lukewarm hodgepodge of run of the mill training exercises, oversimplified discussions of complicated subjects like aerobic vs. anaerobic training, and way too much in the way of stories about Jason.

The book has chapters on injury prevention, anaerobic conditioning, strongman training, speed and strength, nutrition, supplements, and recovery. There are so many great books on each of those topics that I can't recommend this one, even if there are a few good tips and pointers inside.
