School Bio: Sacramento Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is owned and taught by World Champion Marcos "Yemaso" Torregrosa. After receiving his black belt in 2007 from World Champion Cassio Werneck, Marcos sought to open his own academy with the premise of creating a high performing competition team. As of now, in the Sacramento area, there are no schools that focus on the competitive BJJ aspects as much as the Yemaso BJJ Competition team does. This is currently the most successful team in competition with a very high competitor to medal ratio.
